Solar Activity
Solar activity was very low for most of the week, although in the past 2 days, two large active regions have emerged. NOAA 11190 is the reminants of former 11172 but is currently undergoing significant flux emergence at its center and is classified as a beta gamma region. NOAA 11191 is on the east limb and consists of a large bipolar sunspot with well formed penumbra and is bright in soft X-rays. Both of these regions are producing C class flares and 11191 is likely to continue to do so for at least the next few days.
How many GOES flares occurred?
Flares above B, C, M, X class were 15 13 0 0
And how many of these are listed in the RHESSI flare list?
Flares above B, C, M, X class were 10 9 0 0
And how many had EXCELLENT coverage?
Flares above B, C, M, X class were 7 3 0 0
There were RHESSI flares/GOES flares 102 / 28 over the time range 06-Apr-11 13-Apr-11
Memory Management
The SSR began the week at ~60% but has since reached 0%. We switched decimation to normal vigorous on 11-04-11 16:11:30 UT.
