Both front and rear data will now be taken during eclipse. This will likely have an effect on the SSR fill level. In addition, the shuttle is due for launch next week which will have a detrimental affect on our passes, and therefore will make it more difficult to empty the SSR. Also, if the disk-center EFR continues to grow, it may produce some interesting flares which we will want to catch so the SSR fill level should be monitored closely this week.

Solar Activity

There was no significant activity this week with only B class flares occurring. It looks like it will continue this way for the time being unless an EFR appears.

How many GOES flares occurred?

Flares above B, C, M, X class were      7     0     0     0

And how many of these are listed in the RHESSI flare list?

And how many had EXCELLENT coverage?
