Solar Activity
Very quiet. A single flare above B level. GOES baseline is about A4 or A5.
Memory Management
SSR fill was at 0% at end of pass set. likely because we now have only two detectors on. Max fill level was about 11% this week.
Misc
The spacecraft clock was updated to current time, it had drifted fast by about 8.5 seconds. The command was sent 2018/010 22:34:24 UTC.
Spacecraft Status
Detectors 3 & 8 are on.
See http://sprg.ssl.berkeley.edu/~ayshih/soh/latest_temperatures.pdf
for a summary plot of recent temperatures, efficiencies and accelerometer values.
Data Gaps
None of consequence.
Downlink issues
Overall better, now that cryocooler power has been diminished. Still concerning, and we only have two detectors on. The issue seems to arise when the receiver temperature is high (we only have a combined transmitter/receiver temperature reading available to us). A temperature-dependent mechanical cut in the RF path?
For now, back to back downlinks have been removed to deal with the problem.
65W cyocooler since Jan 6th.
