Animated sequence focusing on two descending SADs (plasma voids) above a post-flare arcade from October 22, 2011 (SDO/AIA 131). Thin shrinking loops are observed at the leading edge of the voids -- thereby revealing SADs to be the wakes created by the passage of the loops through the hot, supra-arcade plasma.
