Detector 8 showed periods of low energy noise, the worst of which began on the 22nd of July 2011. The high voltage was lowered by 5 steps on the 27th August at 16:17 UTC (3921.6 V). | No further arcs we observed for detector 6 after the HV was lowered last week. Solar Activity
There are currently 3 active regions present on the disk. For most of the week solar activity was low. However in the last 48 hours NOAA 1260 produced 9 C class and 1 M class flare (which are not currently accounted for in the downloaded data). Further activity from this active region is expected. STEREO B shows 2 further active regions due to rotate onto the disk in the next few days.
How many GOES flares occurred?
Flares above B, C, M, X class were 21 5 0 0
And how many of these are listed in the RHESSI flare list?
Flares above B, C, M, X class were 14 3 0 0
And how many had EXCELLENT coverage?
Flares above B, C, M, X class were 9 0 0 0
There were RHESSI flares/GOES flares 112 / 26 over the time range 20-Jul-11 27-Jul-11
Memory Management
No data was taken during eclipse to reduce the SSR fill level. The SSR is now emptying at the end of each pass set.
Data Gaps
There were no data gaps this week.
Spacecraft Status
No further arcs we observed for detector 6 after the HV was lowered last week. Detector 8 showed periods of low energy noise, the worst of which began on the 22nd of July 2011. The high voltage was lowered by 5 steps on the 27th August at 16:17 UTC (3921.6 V).
