Solar Activity

The Sun was relatively quiet with a GOES base level mostly around B8. Mentionable is the M3-flare on June-3 which appears to be impulsive and with a very short decay.

There are currently 12 labeled active regions on the disk; AR 11498 and 11499 show some complexity and will be on the disk for another 8 days or so. Good hope!

The flare statistics is as follows:

TIME RANGE:30-May-12 00:00:00.000 -- 06-Jun-12 00:00:00.000 Flares above B, C, M, X class were 2 18 1 0 How many GOES flares occurred?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were 2 18 1 0

And how many of these are listed in the RHESSI flare list?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were 1 11 1 0

And how many had EXCELLENT coverage?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were 0 6 1 0
