Data Gaps
There were no gaps in monitor rates.
Detector issues
Detector 3 fast rates have been high for awhile, but they are now high enough to cause a noticeable reduction in livetime. There were a few very small spikes in this detector, mostly upon exiting the SAA or eclipse, and there were no other obvious spikes or noise.
Annealing plans
The RHESSI anneal will start this Monday (Jan 16), with the first evening pass (0300 UT, 7 pm PST). The anneal is expected to take about 35 days, with a 4-5 day warmup, 10 days of annealing at 100 C, two weeks for cooling down and a few days to turn on the detectors. Annealing procedures, including necessary commands, have been distributed by Albert Shih.
For RHESSI data users, please note that RHESSI will not be taking X-ray data for about a month. (Data should return mid-February.)
