Solar Activity
There are currently 11 active regions on the disk, with 11356 being most active. There weren't any flares above C class :( but quite a few C flares.
How many GOES flares occurred?
Flares above B, C, M, X class were 4 55 0 0
And how many of these are listed in the RHESSI flare list?
Flares above B, C, M, X class were 0 37 0 0
And how many had EXCELLENT coverage?
Flares above B, C, M, X class were 0 17 0 0
Memory Management
The SSR is emptying at the end of each pass.
Data Gaps
There were no data gaps in the monitor rates.
Spacecraft Status
Previous issues with receiving data at the BGS ground station have been resolved, with no disruption to our data.
A spinup was performed on Nov.19 11:30 UT. Current spin rate is 14.87 rpm.
Detector Issues
There was a small double spike in most of the detectors on the 21st. The spike was small but enough to trigger the shutter. I didn't see any other instances.
There wasn't any other new behavior this week for the detectors. As usual, detector 6 exhibits high reset and fast rates, and an occasional spike, coming out of the SAA, while for detector 3 the reset rate is just high all the time. Flipping back through the browser plots it looks like detector 3's reset rate has been gradually rising (compared to the other detectors) over the last 4 months, maybe indicating a gradual increase in leakage current due to radiation damage. According to Jim's presentation that detector has significantly degraded in sensitivity this year.
