Solar Activity
Solar activity this week was moderate with 3 M class flares. There are currently 10 active regions on the Sun, 6 of these will rotate over the limb within the next 48 hours. However a major flare watch has been called this morning for NOAA 1618, which has produced a number of C and M class flares over the last 24 hours (the largest was an M3.5 at 11/21/15:30 UT) and is currently in the center of the disk. NOAA 1618 has developed rapidly increasing its sunspot count, sunspot area, and magnetic complexity. 1618 is currently a large E-type/beta-gamma sunspot group with a magnetic delta configuration located within its central portion. There is a slight chance of an X-class event as well if 1618 continues in strong growth phase. STEREO B shows one further active region which will rotate onto the disk in the next few days.

Memory Management
The SSR is emptying by the end of the daily pass set (max was ~25% this week). The decimation state was changed from active/vigorous to normal/vigorous at 2012-320-18:27:43 UTC.
We will remain in normal/vigorous for the time being, with the tohban keeping an eye on the SSR level in light of the major flare watch.
Spacecraft Status
The cold plate 1 and 2 temperatures are 110.9 K and 108.6 K respectively.
Data Gaps
There were a number of 5 min data gaps throughout the week.
Detector issues
There were no changes to the detector settings this week. However detector 5 front slow monitor rates are slightly higher than in previous weeks.
