Solar Activity
Activity was mostly weak this week, but is picking up, with an M class flare on 3-July, and an increase in GOES background from ~B3 to ~B6. There are 10 active regions on the disk, including a new small region, 11787, which produced the M1.5 flare. AR 11785, slightly to the west of 11787 is now a large beta-gamma-delta region, which may also produce some large flares.
