Post 2014 Anneal

Detector 8 is SEGMENTED after the 2014 anneal!

On March 13, 2015 the rear fast threshold was changed.

  • On April 7 2015, the rear fast threshold was changed due to extremely low livetime in the rear segment. It is not clear if this helped; the action will probably be repeated.

  • On June 11 2015 the front fast threshold was raised because the fast rates were high and the livetime was low. This action was NOT successful in reducing the fast rates -- they dropped ever so slightly but not much. Therefore, the livetime remained low.
  • Late July 2015: D8 rear has not been returning good data since mid-May, but it was noticed that its fast threshold was never turned up all the way. On July 24 2015 the rear fast threshold was maxed out to see if that recovered a usable level of events from this detector. Unfortunately, it was not successful.

  • 15 September 2015: The front slow threshold was raised to try to eliminate low energy noise counts.

  • On October 28 in an attempt to lower the high reset rates and the front slow counts registered the HV on the detector was changed to ~2181.

Detector 8 is SEGMENTED after the 2016 anneal!

  • 2016-05-24: D8 rear is mimicing the light leak behavior seen in D3 although this has not previously been seen in D8. Its possible we see the light leak here because of other detectors being turned off
