Talk:Cycle 24 has begun

The title of this Nugget was a bit controversial. Those who follow solar cycles professionally (e.g. Dick Altrock) will note that evidence of the new cycle always precedes the major activity. However I am a flare researcher, and for me the early stages of an extended cycle are, well, if not boring, at least of little practical use!
