Solar Activity

AR 11024 rotated off the disk last week after generating another 6 B flares and ~15 A flares. RHESSI caught a number of the A flares but only one of the B flares, although it was the largest of the week (a B5). There do not appear to be any active regions currently on the disk, although no MDI images have been available from SolarMonitor for the last 5 days (for reasons unknown). GOES activity is fairly minimal (not entirely flatlined, but close).

Down to 0% at end of daily pass set.

Data Gaps

We had a number of VC1 data gaps this week, apparently due to poor data quality from Wallops. Ops will find out if there is an updated station mask we can use; otherwise, it may be best to stop downloading VC1 through Wallops.
