Solar Activity
There are currently eight active regions on disk. Flare activity this week was very low, dominated by B class flares and only 3 C class flares. On 9 May 2010 at 20:59UT a C5.4 was observed at the East solar limb. This flare was correlated with a strong interplanetary type II event. STEREO B shows no further ARs rotating onto the disk within the next few days.
How many GOES flares occurred?
Flares above B, C, M, X class were 13 3 0 0
And how many of these are listed in the RHESSI flare list?
Flares above B, C, M, X class were 6 3 0 0
And how many had EXCELLENT coverage?
Flares above B, C, M, X class were 2 1 0 0
There were RHESSI flares/GOES flares 62 / 16 over the time range 04-May-11 11-May-11
Memory Management
The SSR is emptying at the end of each pass. We remain in normal/active decimation mode. The maximum fill level this week was about 22%.
