Solar Activity
Activity level is fairly high. GOES baseline level is ~C1. Largest flare this week was an M1.5. There are a two large active regions on the disc.
How many GOES flares occurred?
Flares above B, C, M, X class were 1 48 0 0
And how many of these are listed in the RHESSI flare list?
Flares above B, C, M, X class were 1 33 0 0
And how many had EXCELLENT coverage?
Flares above B, C, M, X class were 1 19 0 0
There were RHESSI flares/GOES flares 362 / 49 over the time range 13-Sep-11 20-Sep-11
Note that above RHESSI totals do not include data from the last day (including the M flare).
Memory Management
The SSR is at 0% at the end of every pass set. Max is 30%. We're using the Normal/Vigorous decimation scheme We are not taking rear data at night.
Data Gaps
No data gaps of note, except for a small 15-minute gap that occurred during a C1.0 flare on 2011/09/20 17:45 UT. Might be because the data has been fully processed yet...? Pb at Wallops Should fill up.
GOES seem to have 1-2 hour data gaps, every day at ~6 UT (ex: 2011/09/20 ~05:00 UT, right after the impulsive part of an M1 flare). Must be eclipse season. We are near the equinox, where ecliptic is near geostationary plane.
Instrument Status
Instrument apparently all ok.
