Solar Activity
Activity has picked up a little, with most of the action coming from active region 11476, in the eastern part of the Sun. This region is large and complex and has had enough activity (M-flares) that a Major Flare Watch has been called.
How many GOES flares occurred?
Flares above B, C, M, X class were 6 58 5
And how many of these are listed in the RHESSI flare list?
Flares above B, C, M, X class were 4 38 5 0
And how many had EXCELLENT coverage?

RHESSI Operations
The SSR maxed at 35% this week, higher than usual because there were some bad passes and a lot of data had to be replayed. There's been trouble commanding through one of the Wallops antennae; right now we are mostly using the other one but will still have some passes on the faulty one. Also, there were some data gaps in the last couple days due to trouble getting data from the SAS server. Ops folks are in contact with people there to get this fixed, and the data is present on the ground, just can't be accessed yet.
The spin rate has dropped to 14.5 rpm, so a spinup will be performed sometime today.
