Solar Activity
Solar activity was low this week, with some C-class flares during the week. There are currently 5 ARs on the disk with the probability of some C class flares in the following days.
How many GOES flares occurred?
Flares above B, C, M, X class were 19 8 0 0
And how many of these are listed in the RHESSI flare list?
Flares above B, C, M, X class were 10 5 0 0
And how many had EXCELLENT coverage?
Flares above B, C, M, X class were 7 1 0 0
There were RHESSI flares/GOES flares 56 / 27 over the time range 02-Dec-15 09-Dec-15
Memory Management
The SSR fill level reached a maximum of ~40% and a minimum of about ~3% during the week.
Spacecraft Status
The cold plate 1 and 2 are at about ~133.4 K and ~132.0 K respectively.
Data Gaps
No data gaps this week.
Detector issues
Detector 4 ULDs under control: The HV on detector 4 was lowered to 1500V, which made an effect lowering the ULD rates.
Detector 3 elevated slow rates: Detector 3 HV was lowered to 1000V to decrease the slow front rates. The change did not have an immediate effect, however after a couple of days the slow front rates decrease significantly. It is not clear if the HV made that change to happen.
Detector 6 HV was lowered to 1000V to decrease the observed noise. The slow front threshold on detector 7 was change to 0x20.
Detector 6 slow front threshold was not change as we are waiting to see the impact of detector 7 change in the SSR.
