Solar Activity
Quiet, 2 C flares
How many GOES flares occurred?
Flares above B, C, M, X class were 11 2 0 0
And how many of these are listed in the RHESSI flare list?
Flares above B, C, M, X class were 3 2 0 0
And how many had EXCELLENT coverage?
Flares above B, C, M, X class were 3 2 0 0
There were RHESSI flares/GOES flares 6 / 13 over the time range 26-Sep-17 03-Oct-17
Memory Management
Decimation was active/vigorous for the full time period, with the SSR levels between 5% and 30% for the last three days.
Spacecraft Status
Detectors 1, 3, 6, and 8 are recording events. The cold tips are 131.8 and 130.0 K as of 2-oct-2017. The cold plates, 1 and 2 are 157.6 and 156.2 K. Cryocooler power is steady at 74.3W, cryocooler efficiencies are 0.0268 and 0.0272. See:

for a summary plot of recent temperatures, efficiencies and accelerometer values.

Detector issues
Detectors 1, 3, 6, and 8 are powered on, and are recording events. No HV changes. On 27-sep-2017, the front fast rate threshold for detector 6 was lowered to 0x20, in an attempt to set the threshold to such a low value that individual fast rate counts would not be distinguished, thus reducing the fast rates and increasing live time. This was not successful, and the threshold was raised back to 0xFF.
