Solar Activity

Solar activity this week was very low. There are not visible active regions on disk. STEREO-A images also indicate that there is no region expected to rotate onto the visible disk.

Memory Management

The SSR reached a maximum of ~94 percent during this week.

Spacecraft Status

Detectors 3 and 8 are active and taking data.

The cold plate 1 and 2 temperatures are ~158K and 157K.

Currently the Cryocooler power is ~55 W and the acceleration is at ~11mg

Other notes

Data was deleted on April 9 as the SSR fill level was very high. This move brought the SSR fill level down from 94% to around 56% full. We skipped over data recorded from 2018-03-30 to 2018-04-01 ~11:30 UTC.

Spacecraft Management

Regarding the lock less experiment, it was concluded that a spin-down would not make the situation dramatically better. After getting temperature readings, the spin rate should be brought back to 15 RPM. Then, another anneal will be performed.
